Compassion in Action: Convoy of Solidarity

Food and aid for the animals in the earthquake zone 8 September 2023 A strong earthquake struck the center of Morocco on Friday, the 8th of September 2023, shortly after 11 p.m. local time. Thousands of people were killed. The survivors suddenly faced the ruins of their homes, without water, food and shelter. Humans and animals were in desperate need of immediate life-saving aid. Just days after the devastating earthquake, our team was on the ground to provide critical support. We provided the animals with food and the sick and injured were brought to the sanctuary of the Fondation Helga Heidrich. There they were treated and nursed to get back to health.
